Here is a different take on potato soup ~ I personally add more hot pepper sauce because we like our foods SPICY…..

1 pound ~your choice ground beef or turkey

4 cups cubed peeled potatoes ( about 1/2 inch cubes)

1 small onion~ chopped

3 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce

4 cups water

2 teaspoons salt

1  1/2 teaspoos pepper

1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper cause ( like Tabasco or I use Cholula) and I use more to our taste 🙂

~ In a large pot, brown your ground meat. Add potatoes, onion and tomatoe sauce. Stir in water, salt, pepper, and hot sauce, bring this to a boil. reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender and the soup has thickened…Note…make sure you start with a small amount of hot sauce and adjust to YOUR taste! As always~~ Mangia! 🙂
